Sangilila Dairy Farm
Sangilila Dairy Farm produces value-added dairy products such as yoghurt, ice cream, ghee, and cheese, turning raw milk into nutritious foods while reducing waste for local dairy farmers. The company aims to provide affordable, high-quality products that improve family nutrition in Eastern Uganda and beyond. Its core product is yoghurt, produced at about 80 liters per day, chosen for its health benefits and strong demand among families with infants and youth affected by malnutrition.

The loan will be used to purchase essential equipment, starting with a milk cooler for the collection center to safely store raw milk from local farmers and increase overall production capacity, as well as a standby generator to guarantee uninterrupted processing during power outages. In addition, the loan will allow the business to hire three more young staff members to strengthen both the production unit and the marketing team.
